Nothing makes your coffee or tea break more special than sipping from a cup you designed yourself! In this fun and relaxing workshop, you’ll transform a plain ceramic cup and saucer into a unique, hand-painted masterpiece.

No creative experience needed! I love getting people out of their comfort zones and encouraging them to try something new. This workshop is all about enjoying the process, playing with colors, and creating something truly personal.

What to Expect

We’ll begin with a warm welcome and a quick introduction to glazes—these special paints give ceramics their vibrant colors and glossy finish once fired.

Each participant will receive a beautifully bisque-fired ceramic cup and saucer, ready to be transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece using glazes. I’ll guide you through layering and brush techniques to help bring your vision to life.

Need a little inspiration? No worries! I’ll have plenty of examples and reference materials on hand to spark your creativity.

Tip: Think about your design in advance, so you can fully enjoy the creative process during the workshop!

Duration

The workshop lasts 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore your creativity and refine your design.

What’s Included in the Price?

• A cup & saucer (bisque-fired, ready to be painted)
• Use of high-quality glazes.
• All necessary materials and tools
• Kiln firing to make your design permanent.
• A cozy atmosphere with coffee, tea, and a sweet treat to enjoy while you paint.

Collection & Shipping

After the workshop, I will fire your Cup & saucer in my kiln.
This process takes about three weeks.

You can pick up your finished piece at my atelier in Weesp once it’s ready.

Prefer shipping? No problem! I can send your item to you for €10 per package (shipping at your own risk).

Good to Know

• I speak both Dutch and English, so the workshop will be in either language or a fun mix of both, depending on what the group prefers!
• The workshop will be held in my cozy atelier in Weesp (Stationsweg 28-8), right next to the train station. If you're driving, there's plenty of parking for just €1.20 per hour.
