How should I care for my La Salamandre Ceramics?
Washing Instructions
To keep your ceramic pieces sparkling, handwashing is always best, but they are also dishwasher safe. I totally understand that life can get busy and handwashing isn't always at the top of your to-do list. When using a dishwasher, be mindful of any delicate parts like cute little handles, and always load with care.
Temperature Changes
They are food & oven safe, waterproof, and ready for all your culinary adventures. But let's avoid rapid temperature changes—please refrain from going straight from the fridge to the oven. Quick shifts can cause cracks or breaks.
Staining
The bottoms of handmade ceramics are always unglazed, making them more prone to staining. If residue does get on the bottom, wash it right away to prevent staining.
How should I care for my La Salamandre Glass Art?
Wash instructions
All Glass Art pieces are hand wash only. Avoid submerging them in hot water. Instead, wash them with warm water, gentle soap, and a soft sponge. Avoid using harsh materials like abrasive sponges or dishwasher brushes on the paintings. With proper care, they will enjoy a long and happy life!

The upcycled wine bottle glasses can handle both hot and cold liquids. But let's avoid rapid changes between them—going straight from iced coffee to tea? Wait a little or rinse with lukewarm water first. Quick shifts can cause cracks or breaks.

Atelier La Salamandre is proudly based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and yes—we ship worldwide! 🌍
While a few countries can be tricky to ship to, I always do my best to find a solution and make it work for you. If shipping isn’t possible, rest assured that your order will be fully refunded. 💛
How will fragile products be packaged?
I take extra care to ensure your fragile items arrive safely. These orders will be packaged in two boxes with filling in between and around the product, and marked with fragile stickers.
Additionally, I strive to reuse boxes whenever possible to help promote sustainability. Rest assured, your order will be secure and eco-friendly!
Order processing times
Physical products:
I typically process and ship out orders within 1-3 working days. Please note that Atelier La Salamandre is a one-woman show, so small delays may occasionally occur. The timeframes mentioned here refer to how long it takes for me to prepare and bring your order to the post office, not the actual shipping time.
Digital products:
Digital products are PDF documents and will be sent automatically via email within a few minutes after purchase. We kindly ask you not to share the guide with others who have not purchased it
Custom orders:
The creation time for custom orders varies and depends on the complexity of the request. on average these are the creation times

At Atelier La Salamandre, we ship all orders with PostNL. Shipping ceramics and glass art is delicate and costly, but I carefully pack each piece to ensure it arrives safely.
While I wish I could cover more of the costs, I want to be transparent—these rates reflect actual shipping costs, and I don’t charge anything extra for packaging or make any profit from shipping.
For international orders, I already contribute a little to keep prices more affordable, and for larger orders, I offer free shipping as a heartfelt thank you for your support. 💛

Can I return my purchase?

Custom Orders:
Custom orders are made just for you and can't be returned.
Digital Products (Mosaic Guide):
The mosaic guide is a digital product sent automatically via email as a PDF. Because it's a digital item, returns aren’t possible.
Physical Products:
If you need to return a physical product, please email me within 10 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, the reason for the return, and any details. I'll guide you through the return process. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
How and when will I receive my refund?
Refunds will be issued through the same payment method you used when placing your order. I aim to process refunds within 5 days of receiving the returned item, as long as it's in new condition. Please keep in mind that it may take a little longer for the refund to appear in your bank account.

Help my package is damaged/lost
Damaged Items:
I take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives safely. However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your package. To help resolve the issue, kindly send a photo of the damaged item and the packaging. If the packaging shows signs of damage, please take a picture before opening. This helps me better understand what happened and work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Lost Packages:
Please keep an eye on the tracking information for your order. If your package seems to be lost or delayed, please reach out, and I’ll help you track it down together with the carrier. While I can’t take responsibility for lost packages once they’ve been shipped, I will always do my best to assist you in resolving the issue with the carrier.
