Give old wine bottles a second life—through color and creativity! In this fun and relaxing workshop, you’ll hand-paint a set of two upcycled glasses made from real wine bottles.

The glasses have already been cut, sanded, and polished, so all that’s left for you to do is paint and personalize them using high-quality glass paints. Whether you want a bold and colorful design, delicate floral patterns, or minimalist elegance, your creation will be truly one of a kind!

These glasses are perfect for cold drinks, but you can also use them as candle holders, pen holders, cotton pad organizers, or stylish home decor.

No creative experience? No problem! I love helping people tap into their creative side, and this workshop is all about enjoying the process and discovering new skills in a relaxed atmosphere.

What to Expect

We’ll begin with a warm welcome and an introduction to glass painting techniques, where you’ll learn how to use different brushes to create stunning designs. We’ll begin by practicing flowers, but the skills you’ll pick up can be used for any design you like! After practicing on a test plate, you’ll decorate your two wine bottle glasses glasses. 

Need inspiration? Don’t worry! Plenty of examples and reference materials will be available.

Tip: Think about your design in advance, so you can fully enjoy the creative process during the workshop!

Duration

The workshop lasts 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore your creativity and refine your design.

What’s Included in the Price?

• A set of 2 high-quality wine bottle glasses, ready to be painted (If you’re a fast worker and have time to make more, you can purchase extra glasses for 10 each, incl the extra paint). 
• Use of premium glass paints and metallic relief paint.
• All necessary materials and tools provided.
• A cozy, welcoming atmosphere with coffee, tea, and a sweet treat to enjoy while you paint.

Can I take my items home after the workshop?

Yes you can! To make your design permanent, you can bake your glasses at home in your own oven at 160°, allowing you to take your creations home immediately after the workshop. If you don’t have an oven, no problem—I can fire them for you in my kiln, and you can pick them up within 3 weeks. 

Prefer shipping? No problem! I can send your glasses to you for €10 per package (shipping at your own risk).

Good to Know

• With proper care, the paint on your glasses will last a lifetime. To preserve your design, please hand wash only and avoid abrasive materials, such as scrubbing sponges.
  
• I speak both Dutch and English, so the workshop will be in either language or a fun mix of both, depending on what the group prefers!
• The workshop will be held in my cozy atelier in Weesp (Stationsweg 28-8), right next to the train station. If you're driving, there's plenty of parking for just €1.20 per hour.
